Biska system has been developed in order to make your online gaming experience as pleasant as possible and, following this philosophy, the developers have taken into account all possible disconnection issues.
Disconnection from Biska's server may happen for different reasons:
Disconnection 1
The Internet browser is accidentally closed.
Even though there is a warning message which asks the user a confirmation, closing the browser will cause a disconnection from the server.
Disconnection 2
Internet connection is lost.
If your internet connection fails for any reason the applications that require an internet connection on your Pc (not only Biska) will stop functioning.
Disconnection 3
Disconnection forced by the server.
The server is instructed to disconnect fraudulent connections or those that act in a suspicious way.
Disconnections may happen in the following situations:
Case D1
The player wasn't in any room.
Case D2
The Player was sitting in an uncomplete table (waiting for the required Players to sit in order to begin the game)
Case D3
The player was already playing a game.
For each of these situations the server has been instructed to act accordingly so that in the event of an unwanted disconnection the Player can regain control of his game as quickly as possible thus reducing all problems that are concearned.
In case D1 occurs
When the internet connection is regained (or when the browser is opened again after accidentally closing it) the Player will be taken normally to the main menu after logging in.
In case D2 occurs
A Player sitting in an uncomplete table (game not started yet) is automatically removed from the table if disconnection occurs. When the internet connection is regained (or when the browser is opened again after accidentally closing it) the Player will be taken normally to the main menu after logging in.
In case D3 occurs
The status of the Player who is playing a game will become "Disconnected" and from that moment being the behavior of the Player will follow the same rules of the player in an "Away" status. From this moment on the system will act in place of the Player, carrying out actions that don't imply betting in Poker matches (Fold or Check when possible) and will throw a card, in a random way, in games where a Player is due to throw a card during his turn.
The "Disconnected" status will remain such until the end of the game, or up to the moment in which the Player logs in again on Biska. Immediately after logging in the Player will automatically be taken to the room he was playing in and he will regain control of his game.
PLEASE NOTE:
In team games, such as Tresette, in the event a player leaves the table he will pay twice the amount of the Buy-in since his team mate will not be charged for the loss (except for the match fee that both players will lose).
The team mate that is left alone at the table will not receive a penalty on his reliability either.
